Fremont, Calif. – August 2, 2013 – TELADATA, a leading consulting firm with vast expertise in design, planning and project management for converging technologies, announced today that its 2014 Technology Convergence Conference (TCC) will highlight industry trends focusing on new building and technology infrastructure.

The track titled Trending Industry Topics, will feature end-user presentations and panel discussions on emerging technologies affecting today’s buildings and operations for IT and facilities’ professionals. Sessions on the track (one of three at the conference) will discuss new trends and applications used by IT and facilities professionals from industry leading firms to build a sustainable workspace for future growth.

John Lucas, VP of Global Real Estate & Workplace Services at Juniper Networks, will participate on a panel discussion titled Practical Building Applications for the Internet of Things focusing on technology influencing the built environment. The discussion will be moderated by Christina Clark, VP at Wixen Real Estate, and other panelists include Michael Bangs, VP of Real Estate and Facilities at Oracle, and Ed Pate, Director of Facilities Operations at SanDisk.

Scott Noteboom, CEO of LitBit, will deliver a presentation examining emerging market needs and the next phase of data center innovations to support the future, in a presentation titled Data Center 2.0: The Emerging Market Data Center Revolution.

Greg Pettine, Director of Business Development, Schneider Electric Data Center Service Provider Team, will moderate a  data center case-study featuring Octavio Morales, COO at TierPoint Data Centers, titled Fast and Furious Design/Build – How to Make All the Turns, focusing onTierPoint’s recent 11 week, 10,000 square foot data center expansion.

Kelly Aaron, Director at Carlson, will moderate an end-user panel discussion between Kat Langan, IT Program Manager at Google, Jerry Inguagiato, Senior VP at CBRE, as well as Richard Moon, Senior Director of World Wide Operations at Corporate IT at CollabNet, focusing on the success of IT and facilities collaboration titled The Path to Technology Infrastructure Nirvana.

Dan Pitt, Executive Director of the Open Networking Foundation, and Matt Palmer, Partner and Co-Curator of SDN Network, will deliver a presentation titled Planning for SDN: What You Need to Know in 2014, which will explore Software-Defined Networking (SDN), highlight its most promising use cases, and how capitalize on it.
